I am a hammer sister! You might wonder what that means, I will be happy to explain. I am a founding memeber of the "Sisters of the Hammer" bookclub. We meet monthly from September to June sharing our thoughts and feelings about life and literary pursuits. We are eight "sisters" who have developed a warm and trusting bond over thirteen years.
Every month a new book is chosen. It is a "sisters' responsibility to obtain it and read for the next meeting. Each month a sister will host the meeting, which includes choosing the book, doing some research about the author or possibly a component of the book. All the other sisters bring food and refreshment and the funs starts about 7:30 on the last Thursday of every month.
I have lots of sister stories, there is more to come. Tune in and I will keep you "posted"

I am so jealous that you have met Gail and Rita. I went to Manchester but found that the set was closed to the public. I laid down on the sidewalk and cried....now there's an interesting story I could post to my blog...
